Hank’s Birch Beer BBQ Onion Burgers
Ingredients:
4 Beef Patties
Salt and Pepper to taste
4 Brioche Buns
Arugula
For the Carmelized Onions
1 Yellow Onion
1 tbsp Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 tbsp Butter
1 tsp Soy Sauce
For the Birch Beer BBQ Sauce
1 cup BBQ Sauce
1/4 cup Hank’s Birch Beer Soda
Directions:
- Slice onions and sauté with olive oil, salt and pepper. Once onions begin to caramelize, add soy sauce and butter, stir, and set aside.
- For the sauce, combine BBQ sauce and Hank’s Birch Beer soda. Simmer until the sauce has thickened.
- In a pan, cook burger patties until the desired temperature.
- To assemble the burger, add arugula, burger patty, caramelized onions, and BBQ sauce to the bottom bun and top it off with the top bun. Enjoy!
